We could be a good team. But, yeah, we’ve been churning along at an 80-85 win pace all year.

This team was always going to be as good as the pitching it got. AA completely ignored the pitching staff all offseason so here we are.

we're paying Donaldson 23 mil to lead this team, or help lead this team. He's leading the team in errors with 7, Ks 60, and 6th of 7 regular position players in RBIs with 22. Even Riley is only 2 RBIs behind Donaldson.

The question is "are we getting our monies worth"?

I'm not advocating anything just asking the question alla "Trade or not to Trade Ender?"

JD is on pace for about 3.5 wins for the cost of $23M and no future commitment. He is a declining elite slugger, and is exactly what the Braves paid to acquire.

His RBI total is mostly a function of batting 2nd for half the season with a terrible OBP batter hitting in front of him. I’m not sure how long it’s going to take for Markikis to bat lead off, but the sooner it happens, the sooner JD, Freeman and Acuna will bat with more runners on base.

I wouldn’t take anything Riley is doing right now seriously, nor would I compare anyone to the insane results he has gotten in his first 50 MLB PAs. We like just saw the best stretch Riley will ever produce in his career.
