Luck was getting clobbered constantly in the first half last night and never even batted an eye. Stuck it out and kept fighting, got the win.
Special, special player.

From Peyton to Luck, only the Colts.

The ONE year he doesnt play, Luck comes out, some franchises are lucky like that.

Ryan is better than anyone not named Peyton Brady Brees or Rodgers. He's in that second group. Pretty obvious.

So he needs weapons just like anyone else though? Is he as good as you think or is he a product of having absolute studs all over the place?

At this point, regardless of weapons, Stafford, Bradford (when healthy), Rivers, Wilson and Kap (EDIT: and Luck) are all better than Ryan, IMO.
So no, he isn't in the second group either.
He is third tier, possibly breaking into the second tier if he had all his weapons healthy and was going against a defense that is bad against the pass.

LOL......

All of Green Bay holding their breath. Aaron Rodgers injured his left shoulder. Getting it "double checked" in the locker room.

Bad joke. Sorry.

Seriously? He hasn't had a significant weapon set since lime week 4 or 5 whenever he lost Julio (Roddy has had a bum wheel since preseason) and he has one of the highest dyar in the NFL. Ryan is a fantastic qb. Sure he wasn't very good against Carolina but Carolina has a great defense and Ryan had no weapons but gonzo.

When kaeprnick didn't have Davis he had an excuse. But that is only one week. Ryan ia going on several weeks with ni weapons but 40 year old Tony Gonzalez

So because Roddy white was out there he counted? Or because he was clearly hurt it didn't count?

Roddy hasn't been out there since Julio went down so it's all moot anyway. Roddy having a bum wheel (one so bad he winded up having to be benched for what's going on what 5 weeks now?) and Davis being deemed healthy enough to play after an injury are slightly different even in similar situations. Sure Ryan had better weapons than Kaepernick to start the season, but Ryan for 3 weeks running has had garbage for weapson and has produced a 64.9 comp% and a 6.96 Y/A against what are thought week 9 the 24th, 3rd and 8th most efficient pass defenses in the NFL. Kaepernick for comparison has on the season, a 57.1 comp% and an 8.0 Y/A. While his passing weapons were missing against Indy with Davis, he still has one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL. Kaepernick doesn't have excuses for why he sucks if he can't put up great numbers against anyone but GreenBay and Jacksonville.

The QB position is evolving. In terms of total efficiency Kaep has been great. Lets ignore the fact that Kaep has been hurt as well. That doesn't matter of course.
