Your argument is flawed and it's rather simple....as giles stated, Howard is always amongst the top scoring centers. So how can someone who is "awful" achieve that?

2013 - 2nd
2012 - 1st
2011 - 1st
2010 - 2nd

"This sh!t just doesn't make sense b"

So you believe that Howard is a good offensive center?

I might be crazy BUT if the numbers say you are the 1st or 2nd scorer at your position......then, yeah, I'd say you're a good offensive center. BUT I might be crazy.....

So you are comfortable giving him the ball in a crucial spot to get you a basket?

How much of that is due to FT's?

Depends on the situation....depends who's on the court for Houston, who's on the court for the other team....I would say Harden is option 1, then Dwight is option 2. But if, DeJuan Blair is out there guarding Dwight, I have no problem giving him the ball.

Howard is at 75% from the rim to 3 feet out. From 3-9 feet he is at 44% and over the last 4 years he is at 38% from 10-15 feet. Now obviously the latter isn't great but it's a HUGE improvement from his early years of 25%.

That percentage doesn't tell the story and using those numbers is really misleading. Of course he is going to have a high percentage 3 feet and in. Howard is an athletic freak that gets dunks in transition and put backs. Obviously if a scrub like Blair is guarding him you would go into him but when it matters against a decent team he won't have that luxury.

You just can't compare Howard/Lopez in terms of offensive ability. But that isn't Howards strength obviously.

Howard operates, mostly, within 5 feet of the hoop. So if he hits that shot at a 75% clip....why wouldn't you go to him?

He doesn't "operate" there. He is an opportunistic scorer that benefits from transition and putbacks. Rarely, if ever does a team feature him in the offensive gameplan.

You clearly haven't watched him over the last 3-4 years...he's not the same player he was when he came into the league. Keep hating though, if it makes you feel better.

What are your thoughts on Shaq? Didn't you hype him up when we were debating the top 10?

Are you actually trying to compare the two? How old are you man? Howard can only dream of having a quarter of Shaqs offensive ability. Shaq was featured on basically every play when he was in the game.

Not comparing the two but they do have similarities. Shaq barely took any shots outside of 3 feet, their %'s are pretty much the same....Shaq dominated because he was bigger and stronger than everyone else. He didn't have any great post moves, couldn't knock down a 15 footer, etc, etc

I'm sorry my friend. If you don't think Shaq had post moves then you didn't watch him play prior to his injuries. Shaq was excellent with his back to the basket in addition to being a great passer. The two aren't comparable. Shaq was by far the superior player.

Once again, I said they AREN'T the same...but they have similarities. Shaq is obviously the better player. You and Heyward have some deep hatred for Dwight, why, I have no idea but you also refused to give Bron his due. If you can't see that Dwight is great then, that's your issue...I'm done trying to convince you that a 19/14 center with excellent defense is a great player.

I don't give Bron his due? I've called him the beat player of all time.

So before he won his ring, you weren't saying he's a choke and doesn't hit big shots, he passes with the game on the line? That never happened?

I dont HATE anyone, nor do i dont hate Dwight.

Is he good, yes, i said many times i dont think hes the C in the league nor can you win a championship with him as your #1 option.

LeBron will go down as one of the best players of all-time, maybe the best or in that conversation even. Dwight won't, the two arent close to compareable.

So thats a dumb argument, smart guy.
