I can forgive letting Nick hit there with 2 outs, no one on, and facing Doolittle. But you know if that situation came up again with ROB Snit wouldn’t pinch hit for him. The idea of extra innings is to take the lead as soon as possible to avoid a loss and taxing your bullpen. You don’t just give up an out in that situation. You had both Camargo and Culberson on the bench. Your attempt at rationalizing it makes no sense.

You’re right Snit probably wouldn’t pinch hit but now we got the hit from Markakis the HR from Camargo and we’ll get Culberson in for defense. Seems like saving the bench is going to work out perfectly.

Tony Sipp was a few years older than me, but I got to see him pitch a lot when he was at Moss Point high school and I was in 7th or 8th grade. He was literally the only good player they had on that team back then.

Just realized Camargo has been pretty good for the past month when he has gotten a chance. Entered today with a 1.000 OPS in the past 30 days. Only 22 at bats, but its encouraging to see him hit better when he gets a chance.
