Pregnant woman shot, charged with manslaughter, shooter not charged

what Morons. That’s a horrible, misleading headline.

The pregnant woman started a fight. Someone pulled out a gun and shot the pregnant woman in self defense. If the woman wouldn’t had started the fight none of this would had happened. Is that hard to understand?

Because pregnant women are so dangerous that the only way to stop them is with a gun.

Might want to look closer at this one. The district attorney is a black, female, Democrat. This case stinks of her trying to use the process to attack the law. This woman will almost certainly not be prosecuted

In case you don't know how grand juries work, the prosecutor presents the case to the grand jury, presents evidence, might have law enforcement testify, and explains the law to the grand jury. The grand jury decides if there's probable cause.

It's been said you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. They defer so much to the prosecutor.

If the prosecutor doesn't want an indictment there won't be an indictment. The DA wanted this indictment and the press is too busy lapping up the story to see what's going on.

How do you not see this a slam dunk manslaughter case? Her actions led to the death of a fetus. That can’t be argued against

I've not looked into the Alabama statutory scheme enough to know if it would pass constitutional muster. I'm just pointing out the DA whose prosecutors got this indictment is a black, female, Democrat. The stuff about this being racially motivated or a legitimate use of the statute is just wrong. The facts get in the way of the narrative.

Gee whiz. When does that ever happen? I would say that we may have to start prosecuting women who smoke or drink during their pregnancies to account for the damage they are causing to the unborn if this kind of stuff stands.
