On BBA's Top 100 Prospects List
Let’s graduate Soroka and Riley. Any surprises?
Most lists I’ve seen have some combo of Anderson, pache, waters 1-2-3

but but i read his stat line and have determined he needs better command. i’ve never seen him but i am extremely sure of it.
He needs better control. That's for certain. It's more of a question if if he develops it. Some are confident he will. Maybe he will.
I just never count on prospects to develop significantly better control as a rule. I find I'm rarely disappointed and pleasantly surprised when it does happen
He hasn't given up more than 3 walks in an outing since 5/14 and during that time frame he only gave up 3 walks twice.

You’re taking with someone who wondered aloud if 5+ walks per 9 was his new norm after about three starts.

Your obsession with his walk rate stuff is beyond stupid. His command is fine, it's nowhere near Newk level bad as a starter the way you make it seem it is.
SSS.
I honestly have no idea what kind of control Anderson eventually develops or if his recent results are a sign of that control developing. I just wait for him to amass a significant number of IP and look at the results.
As a rule, I don't count on players significantly improving their control. It's far more common for it not to happen. It does occur though and I hope Anderson is one of those. It's just not something I count on.
