So when someone goes to one of his rallies and wears the garb, what exactly is it that they are expressing support for.

The pro-life judges?

The tax cuts?

I believe those are fairly standard GOP positions. We can debate those, but I don't think this is really what is at stake.

I believe that the activist core--those who attend the rallies and wear the garb--are actually there to show support for something different. And that something more is expressed in the tweets asking people of color to go back where they came from. That's what has them so fired up. The desire to make America white again. For most of them, the vast majority of those attending the rallies and wearing the garb. It might be clothed in something that sounds innocuous, like preserving western values. But what they are really out there providing full-throated support for is a racially exclusive vision of America. They were exceedingly uncomfortable having an African American president. And they are exceedingly uncomfortable by the browning of America. All those brown people from ****hole countries.

To pretend that wearing the hat does not really mean this is a form of feigned obtuseness. Maybe children and teenagers don't fully understand the message, but adults surely do. To say it is only a way of expressing support for protecting the unborn is grotesque. There are so many other ways to express support for the unborn without taking on all this baggage.

Trump may be a piece of garbage, but he is not stupid. He knows exactly how to push the buttons of libtards, much to the delight of his base. Toothless white men in red states are pissing their pants with happiness after reading that comment.

Why can't the libs seem to grasp the fact that they already have the votes of anyone who cares about these comments? Anyone who remains a Trumpkin is happy to read these remarks from their guy, so foaming at the mouth in anger over them is pointless.

Everyone knows what Trump is. Everyone knows what his base believes. Identify and attack the issues needed to get those rust belt votes, and stop the hand wringing over everything else.

In short, stop acting like over-sensitive ideological hippies, formulate a plan to win those voters, execute that plan, and stop letting the great pumpkin sidetrack it.

I disagree...right or wrong, I doubt this sways voters. He’s said things in the past that were more egregious. And he’ll say and do more between now Election Day. I’m just not sure this stuff is going to matter if the economy is humming next November.

Trumpkins have already proven beyond all doubt that they either agree with these comments, or couldn't care less about them.

He isn't wrong when he says, "many people agree with me". Tens of millions do...that's the scary part.

We actually agree on your last point, but I think he galvanized dems in a big way and put many indies in a place where they won't vote for him.

The Trump administration has significantly escalated drone strikes in multiple theatres and has eliminated rules established by his predecessor relating to transparency, reporting, and interagency approval.
