Why you throw Parsons in a high leverage situation makes zero sense. So yeah, we can pin that on Snit. And not pinch-hitting for Riley there was also a bad move when you have a deep bench. Ender or Mac should've taken that AB because they can actually make contact at least.

I didn't agree with all he did tonight, but it shouldn't have come to that. Too many wasted chances at the plate
 
Riley deservedly catches a lot of hell here right now, but I thought he had a decent night vs the LHPs (k, oppo single, k, just missed HR). It was the last AB that was just pure awful, but he shouldn't have faced the RHP. If we were down 3, I can see letting him hit. With the lead 1, you use McCann or ender there imo.

If Snit was ready to pinch hit McCann for Flowers there was no reason not to pinch hit him for Riley. Snit was in very rare form tonight. Multiple moronic, unexplainable decisions. Luckily we have a ton of worthless beat writers who will ask him zero questions about this.
 
Fried supposed to be activated Sunday. Will be an interesting decision on who goes down. I would send both Riley and Camargo down to get themselves sorted out and bring up Duvall.

Snit was pretty awful tonight.
I’m sure he feels like he has to start Neck but it’s pretty apparent he needs to be platooned and out of the 5 hole.
He decided to bring in 2 of our 3 worst relievers in the pivotal inning while coming off an off day, then let’s AR hit with a more then capable LH on the bench.
Just awful but I don’t freak out to bad over a single loss.
I have no issues with Ozzie swinging at that fastball down the middle.
He just missed it, it happens.
Swarzak has been amazing but just remember this game in Oct folks cause that’s our 7/8th inning man which should scare the hell out of us lol
He and Luke have been great but history says it won’t last especially in regards to the Swarzak.
Let’s win tomorrow.
 
Sucky game, for sure. Snit and offense lost that one for us. We played way better and probably should have won by a run or two, at least. Really sucks with the Nats crushing the Rockies.

I can understand him letting Riley hit there. If McCann hits for Riley, then Camargo likely hits for Flowers should McCann reach base. If Camargo reaches without ending the game, that loads the bases for another ph, Inciarte. If Ender doesn’t win the game, that sends you to extras with zero bench players left. Ultimately the question was who do you have more faith in, Riley or Flowers. One of them needed to hit for themselves in case of extras

That would requite two walks by Mac and Johan to completely wipe out the bench without winning the game. But yes I would have more faith in Flowers over Riley. Riley is about as bad as you can get right now.
