Yeah but can you provide a mathematical formula proving that.
I prefer Steiner Math. But speaking of Trump is he a yankee fan? Probably says a lot about both.
We need to find which FO's use Trump Math.
You've won my heart.![]()
A lot of really smart people are talking about how wonderful it is.
A lot of people including myself are giving you a lot of credit for how wonderful it was. Believe me.![]()
2 trades I would make:
1) Wright + Davidson for Stroman
2) Anderson + Wentz + Demeritte for Felipe Vazquez
Those are the kinds of fair value (incorporating a contender's premium) deals that would upgrade the team substantially for this year and next year but still leave us with quite a bit left on the farm (Pache, Waters, Wilson, Muller, Ynoa, Weigel, etc, etc) plus the young guys in the majors (Soroka, Fried, Riley). It balances near-term improvement with maintaining a long window of contention.
And it works from the perspective of the other teams. Certainly, those offers would be considered highly competitive for Stroman and Vazquez. The other team's GM would not hang up on those kinds of offers.
Trading our best pitching prospect for a reliever seems like a terrible waste of assets. Why not just trade Wentz and fodder for Giles?
I’m excited to discuss deals for Thor but end up with Kennedy and Givens.
Royals apparently don't intend to eat money in deals...
