Let's just assume markakis has a wrist fracture. What's estimated recovery time on that? Could be too vague to determine
Considering it's his throwing hand probably a while.

Call up Duval and maybe swing a deal for a defense first middle infielder. Culberson/Camargo can split time at short until Dansby comes bac

Depends on the fracture, but at least a month and probably more.

so no power at all? They usually come back really weak in that wrist as well. Takes a while to return to full strength. He could become less of a power hitter if that’s possible

Throwing hand is pretty inconsequential. The issue is wrist injuries sap power for a long time even after healed. He is unlikely to contribute meaningfully this year if it’s serious.
Markakis shouldnt be playing everyday, but this is a serious ding to the roster.
It occurs to me that a Joyce/Duvall platoon could actually be more productive than Muk full-time in right.
I wonder if Snit will plug Camargo in everyday or give Charlie a few starts.
At short?...I'm guessing Camargo will get most of the games.
The key guy now in McCann. He now has to provide all that veteran laidership Muk was. #hardtoreplace
That’s gonna be tough.
All that added pressure and weight on his shoulders may even make him slower if possible.
