Post-Trade Deadline Rosterbation Discussion

4 new players to put on rosters.

Expectation is that Murphy goes to Gwinnett.

What roster moves will happen to get Greene, Melancon and Martin to 40 man and 25 man rosters?
 
Have to imagine that Sobotka, Minter, and walker are going to Gwinnett

But doesn’t matter if you like the deals or not, we added some good pieces, without sacrificing our future. This offseason could be the time we do that.

But for now we line up like this

Greene (closer)
Melancon - 8th
Martin -7th
Jackson
Swazack
Newcomb -long relief
Tomlin
Blevins - loogy

Come playoff time, Folty/Gausman/Freid could be put in the pen.

Also, this tells guys like Swarzak and Jackson that if they continue to **** the bed, they could be out

We also have Webb and Dayton coming back from injury. Amazing depth now. I would think Tomlin is on borrowed time when Webb or Dayton come back.

Since we have only 2 lefties for now, I don't think Newk will be a long man. Snit has usually liked to have two multi-inning guys. Tomlin is one. And I'm guessing Jackson will be the other.

If Dayton returns I could see Tomlin being released.

Or Webb will be long man and Tomlin gets DFA'd.

If Dayton comes back that's 3 lefties and Newk would be one of the long guys with Luke Ray. Or if AA chooses Webb then and Luke it is.

Really like having Tomlin in the BP, to be honest. We need to find a spot for Webb once he's up, for sure.

No way. It's getting to know the posters and their traits. Have a list of comparisons already going. And as more posts are made, the clarity will brighten the skies. And only the old time posters called me Salma or Sal.

If ya ain't figured out who's who yet it just ain't happenin. Just like Frenchy never learning how to take a walk. Riley is on that same dark path. Donaldson needs to learn how to swing and not take a walk.
