NBA Thread

RW was on last night. He might be the best mid range shooter in the game right now.

I don't agree with that. He misses a lot but he did have a great game. RW is one of the most unique players to play in a long time. Many have said he is already the best athlete to ever play the PG position. He came back from his injury with no issues at all. Every year he increases his accuracy on 3 pointers. Bottom line is that RW is a top 5 player in the game and the Thunder are lucky to have him.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

RW who has a 5/5 A:T ratio is the best PG in the league? HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

This year is all that matters now?

News to me.

If we're going off this year, Paul George MVP?

Ibaka has been a monster since RW came back. If the Thunder can just get one other guy each night to step up I feel good about this year. There are a lot of choices each night for that 4th guy to step up.

Trade for Afflalo.

And yes, Ibaka has been a monster lately.

Depends on what they want. I'd prefer to stay the course with this team. I think Lamb/Adams/Jones are all going to be solid contributers this season and moving forward. Affalo is going to want more money than he is worth. Now if it costs Thabo and picks then I would consider it.

I would offer them Thabo, Jones, a pick, maybe something else.

He'd be a perfect fit.

I like Jones a lot but as long as that something else isn't Jackson/Lamb/Adams you have to make that deal.

Nice little article about the Rockets from Lowe.

I have always said that Harden was the third bets player on the Thunder and it didn't make sense to give him max money. Presti made the right move.

Regarding Howard I think this piece is telling:

But he's not the same terrifying force he was in Orlando in 2011 and 2012, and that is most obvious on the offensive end. To be blunt: Howard's post game is dead, or at least on life support, and if it doesn't recover, the Rockets run the serious risk of wasting a dozen possessions per game in order to keep the big fella happy. Howard has shot 20-of-60, or 33 percent, on post-up attempts this season, per Synergy Sports. That would have ranked 88th out of 92 players who recorded at least 75 post-up plays last season. He has turned over the ball on an astonishing 24 percent of his post-up chances this season, per Synergy. That would have ranked last among those 92 players last season.

The bolded part shows just how awful Howard is offensively because with his size and quickness he should dominate.
