BABIP w/ Braves
Greene- .636
Melancon- .500
Martin- .400
I've never seen anything like this.
When you throw meat balls, they tend to get hit like a howitzer
That's not how that works.
Sure it can.
But that’s a joke. in this case, they’ve been dinked and dunked a lot.
Whats the pens ERA after the deadline, 15?
they are all decent but not great relievers who will help us
based on the data before they joined the braves and what I've seen since they joined I will say imo martin > melancon > greene
But all 3 fall in the category of decent useful but not great relievers
I'd agree with the order, and say I'd expect ERAs around 3.3-3.5 for Martin, 3.8-4.0 for Melancon, and 4.2+ for Greene. The problem being that makes the best of those a roleplayer, not a vital cog.
I am not blaming twit here. But he is using them very oddly to me. We are seeing guys being used in 4-5 and even more fun leads. Belvins. Weigel and others are not being utilized enough. Tomorrow basically we have Newk. Weigel. Tomlin. Blevins. I would tell the three stooges to stay at the hotel.
Enscheff was pretty confident about the Braves winning the East even if they stayed pat (relatively).
We're about to find out.
Nats and Mets are comin'.
