John Hart Hired By The Braves

One thing that may have been overlooked on this board: Wren signed a 2 year deal for 2012-13, team won the division in 2013 but obviously flopped in the playoffs, Wren was then REWARDED (?) with a 1 year deal. It usually doesnt happen that way in baseball or the corporate world.

Except Hart didn't sign Arod. He became the Rangers GM the following year and promptly traded Arod 2 years later.

Although I would not call 2 years later 'prompt,' I didn't realize it wasn't Hart who signed A-Rod either. It was Doug Melvin! Baseball is one hell of a redemptive business.

So it's FW's fault the team "flopped"

Smh.

I'm on board, provided he brings some key staff with him.

What does Smh mean? Dont know who else you can fault. Fredi gets his share of the grief. Wrens job (or any other GM) is to give the manager the players. Who gets the blame for BJ and Uggla, Eliot Johnson, Kameron Loe, did I leave any out?

Shake my head.

No one knew BJ would be that bad.

Even still, we had enough to win the series and the players didnt execute.

What does Loe have to do with anything?

Seriously, the BJ Upton & Ugglas situations are very different from Kameron Loe & Elliot Johnson. Not sure what the point is with the remark. Plus, it's not very productive to just look for a scapegoat.
