Really nice evening on the farm tonight:

Pache has his first AAA homer and has really started to get going there.

Ball keeps absolutely crushing everything and had 2 more homers and 5 RBIs for Rome where he now owns a .371 average and a 1.019 OPS thus far with club. He’s turning into a legit big time power prospect.

Langeliers keeps playing much better with 2 more doubles. His average all the way up to .250 after an awful start in Rome.

Cullen was 3 for 5 and his OPS is now up to .806 at Rome

Connor Blair hits his first homer at Rome.

Stallings with another shut down start at Rome... 8 innings of shut out ball with only 2 walks. He’s now 3-0 with a 1.42 ERA

That’s just a quick recap of the more interesting players I found from tonight’s action.

I am admittedly not keeping up with the farm as much this year so color me surprised when I saw video of ball tonight. Jesus to the H. He is freaking huge. I mean him just running the bases looks like a high schooler playing against 1st graders.

Not reading too much into Lango's first season in pro ball after a long college season, but have there been any reports on his Defense?

only been 93 PAs, but i think it's 100 where BB and Ks start to "normalize."
Pache is down to 18.3% Ks and up to 8.6% BB. both improvements from AA. that's the biggest thing, for me, for him right now. he keeps looking better and better. if he isn't a stud already, he seems on his way. hopefully he keeps this up.

Seen him three times. He's a commander out there. Arrogance is obvious defensively. Not in a bad way, just in how confident of a backstop he is. I like his framing and set up behind the dish. He's got a quick release and I love his arm. I honestly think he is better than I thought at first glance. I think he's throwing out about 40% of base stealers and that's with a few slower deliveries on the staff. If he hits at all....this is going to be a solid first round pick.
