Then I guess I should commend him instead of laugh, since that’s so rare these days.

Just this weekend I saw sturg get called out for “not understanding politics” for suggesting the Dems impeach Trump now instead of waiting until after the election, despite the fact they think he poses an imminent danger to the country.

well, i'll just say if Pelosi goes down the road of impeachment my hope would be that she has her ducks lined up...it can't be a matter of giving in to the mob within her party that is baying for impeachment...among other things she needs to know what is in the whistleblower's report...I don't see how she can proceed with impeachment until Congress hears from the whistleblower...so calling for impeachment "now" seems a tad premature

There’s real irony in this statement because, just as with the so-called bathroom bills, this outlook uses fearmongering to obscure the fact that trans people are at much more risk of violence and assault in spaces segregated by sex. Based on the rate of violence against trans people in prisons, it’s pretty easy to see what policy “actually leads to people getting hurt.” If your response to this is a single news article, I’m not sure if you should continue to use the sarcastic “party of science” bit.

If a dude goes to prison for rape, can he ide tidy as a women and go in with women?

Do you actually think it's going to work that way? You're using the simplistic Huckabee argument that boys will get cut from the varsity team and then sign up for the girls team. I am relatively certain there will be hurdles that will prevent what you contend may happen from happening starting with chemical castration through hormone treatment.

Could be the hysterical child claiming how she is destined to die due to climate change... and the failing presidential candidate telling her that she is correct to feel that way.

waiting til you learn Koch's have had the information for decades and decided to squelch the science in favor of deregulation (profit). squelch via putting "scientists" on the payroll to deny the science.

I believe that most states require high school students who identify as non-binary to have done so consistently and not just switch overnight without some measure of prior therapeutic care. We haven't seen what the prison system will do, but I am relatively certain that they aren't going to put a male rapist in the general population of a women's prison. Again, I believe this is a complaint about a non-issue.

I'm almost certain I can walk into my office today and tell them I want to change.my gender and they will oblige
