I think going with DK anymore is playing with fire. Cut your losses and go with Julio. This game has this feel to it: DK comes back out, he’ll give up 2-3 more runs, we’re down 4-0 or 5-0, replace him with Julio, he shuts them down, we claw back to within 1 and end up losing by 1. Then the board melts down and bitches, if only Snit had replaced DK with Julio one inning earlier...

And as poorly as Keuchel is pitching, that bitching would be completely and totally justified.

More than anything, having 3-4-5 hitting like three pitchers in a row is really killing us.

I think the elbow is making him cheat to catch up with balls. He's having to decide to swing before he sees what the pitch is.

I would have pinch hit for him tbh. He’s just not that sharp today and I’d rather end it today then have to chance a game 5.

Agreed. Snit needs to manage this game like game 7, not like a random Monday in the regular season. Throw everyone except for Folty and Soroka.
