Tampa Bay Rays, Oakland Athletics, new stadiums, and expansion discussion

I sure hope not. Keep them in Baltimore and get them an owner that cares and is willing to not interfere with the day to day operations.

As much as we all hate the cheapness at times of a corporate owner. Having the meddling owner is far worse in my opinion.

I live close to Nashville but I hope they don’t get it bc I’m afraid it’ll pull people from going to Atlanta to watch. But that stadium and lay out is pretty bada$$.

Yeah bc they have both been horribly ran for the most part. Also Miami and TB are a lot further from Atlanta than Nashville.

It's been quite a while now since one can say the Rays have been horribly run, and they still can't draw, even in playoff years. Florida Man just doesn't like baseball, apparently.

If a team in Nashville will hurt the Braves I expect it to be done. I dont know that they have any kind ofngrudge against the Braves but we seem to come down on the wrong side of just about every major decision.

Charlotte would be a lot worse for Atlanta I would think.

How bad would it be for the same city to lose 2 major sports franchises to the same city.

Oakland is full of uber liberal commie types that hate economic success and great things like pro sports teams.

MLB needs to plant its flag in Sin City. The most American city, IMO.

The Knights certainly do well there. Pretty crazy to think that Vegas could go from 0 pro teams to 3 within such a short period of time

If they do move to Vegas they should change to nickname from A's to Aces. Wouldn't have to change much.
