I forgot...An obama admin setup for Jr said it all. Oh yeah, saying in public to find emails was the final straw.
Better yet, using publically avaipable information was beyond the pale.
You guys are amusing to watch.
How many times will you fall for the 'orange man bad' story?
Of course it is...I addressed the commonly referenced points of Trump/Russia collusion and commented how absurd each of those were.
You just dont want to address it.
I don't know where you get the energy to hold up a mirror to these clowns each day. They just keep regurgitating debunked false reports from intel agency fake news pundits in some cyclic impeachment jerk that never reaches climax.
I take breaks every now and again just to watch them act like fools.
All their ammo is just fed from partisan hacks. They realize it but have to continue the charade so as to not admit their foolishness.
What all of this will amount to is another 4 years of Trump and then ideally a long string of Populist/Conservative candidates that actually give a **** about America.

Not at all. I have have very, very low expectations of politicians. Think about pork. You have politicians scrabbling to use any power their office gives them to get money appropriated to their district. They then tout all the money they've brought back to their district and imply that if they're voted out of office the money will dry up and people in the district will financially suffer. Essentially the politician is using his power over government funds to buy votes. And yet we accept this as a normal part of the process.
What about politicians who accept campaign donations from special interest groups and who does what the special interest group asks so that he keeps getting the donations instead of his rival? That's a politician using his official power to get an third party to give him an advantage. Again, this is the norm.
So while I realize the Ukraine thing is different, think of it in the context of what is openly accepted. If we just accept politicians trading favors and using their office to get re-elected as normal, how rampant is more egregious uses of power? I'd wager things like the Ukraine call happen with a regularity that would stun some of you. Because again, if people openly use their power to gain an advantage, how much more would these people do when they're behind closed doors?
The reason I don't think this is impeachment worthy is because I believe this kind of stuff is rampant. I think the correct way to fix it is through the political process.
But again, thumbing your nose at the investigation is a completely different animal.

What Trump has done is not normal or rampant in any sense of the word. Asking a third party for information on a political opponent may be normal for back door political operatives, but for a sitting President to use appropriated military aid as enticement for false information - Biden and his son had already been cleared - is way, way, way over the line. And it should be against the law for so many obvious reasons.
Outside of that, the fact that this President and his team cannot break the laws in a more covert way displays their utter incompetence in the saddest of ways. You'd expect them to be smarter at their lawlessness.

It appears they became aware of it in the two weeks after the call. It is a detail worthy of careful investigation.
Which of course then destroys the narrative but we don't need to focus on that.
I get it - You guys want him out and you hilariously struct out on Russia but this is just madness.
Beat Trump at the polls and not through deep state coup activities.

the detail is important...but I think the facts as already known are plenty bad...the president pressured a vulnerable country to join him in a scheme to influence the election via a disinformation campaign against an opponent...he ordered the military aid held up and bypassed the state and defense department to do so...
For starters the COMMANDER IN CHIEF controls our military so his decisions do not need to be approved.
Secondly, its been clear for months that Biden was a dead candidate and the Ukraine connection is at the heart of the Russia bull**** which William Barr has been tasked to get to the bottom of.
I get that you don't like it and thats fine but this administration is going to get to the bottom of the illegal activities that were undertaken by the Obama administration and the politicized FBI/CIA that served under him.

And yes he is the commander in chief of military but only with congressional approval.
Technically he can't have a corporal peel a potaro without congressional approval
He is the last link n the chain of command but still answers to congress
and in disputes between Executive and Legislative they both answer to the Judicial

Congress foolishly gave up that authority long ago so saying that Trump needs to go to his cabinet for any approval as if its a legitimate talking point is stupid.
