President Elizabeth Warren

Well if you will recall the early Trump threads I said being a liar was what qualified a person to President. That said lets address the issue you wont even name for whatever reason.

Do you have any proof she wasnt brought back the next year as a teacher when her pregnancy started showing?

I bet you were going to say the native American stuff. Do you have any proof this aided her in any way?

1. She said so herself in an interview in 2011 that she wanted to leave and be with her family. Plus the school boards minutes also said she resigned

2. She put it on every application she ever used to claim minority status

Ok you are going to have to be more specific than an interview in 2011. My google-fu is pretty good but you need to narrow it down a bit.

The school board meeting shows she was approved for contact renewal. That was in April. In June when she was 6 months pregnant is when the principal told her the job was going to someone else. I dont know how you can be so certain about something like this from 1971. You dont require much evidence when it fits the narrative you want.

As for the native American issue, she was told by parents she had Native American heritage which a DNA test backed up. Your assertion that she put it on every application a lie. So I guess you hate yourself now. You also havent provided me one example of where she gained anything of value from claiming Native American Heritage. Heres a report from the Boston Globe.

"At every step in her remarkable rise in the legal profession she was viewed as a white woman"

Did you know Cajuns are a federally protected minority group? I just check the box for white.

I feel bad bursting your new favorite socialist hero's bubble but I guess I have to

From the school board minutes in 1971:

The Riverdale Board of Education approved a second-year teaching contract for a young Elizabeth Warren, documents show, contradicting the Democratic presidential candidate’s repeated claims that she was asked not to return to teaching after a single year because she was “visibly pregnant.” Minutes of an April 21, 1971, Riverdale Board of Education meeting obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show that the board voted unanimously on a motion to extend Warren a “2nd year” contract for a two-days-per-week teaching job. That job is similar to the one she held the previous year, her first year of teaching. Minutes from a board meeting held two months later, on June 16, 1971, indicate that Warren’s resignation was “accepted with regret.”

Then, in 2007, Warren said this:

I was married at 19 and then graduated from college [at the University of Houston], actually, after I’d married. And my first year post-graduation, I worked — it was in a public school system, but I worked with the children with disabilities. And I did that for a year, and then that summer, I actually didn’t have the education courses, so I was on an “emergency certificate,” it was called. And I went back to graduate school and took a couple of courses in education and said, “I don’t think this is going to work out for me.” And I was pregnant with my first baby, so I had a baby and stayed home for a couple of years, and I was really casting about, thinking, “What am I going to do?” And my husband’s view of it was, “Stay home. We have children. We’ll have more children. You’ll love this.” And I was very restless about it. So I went back home to Oklahoma, by this point we were living in New Jersey because of his job, I went back home to Oklahoma for Christmas and saw a bunch of the boys that I’d been in high school debate with and they’d all gone on to law school. And they said, “You should go to law school. You’ll love it.”

Then, in 2011, she said this:

“I was married at 19 to a boy I had dated since my freshman year in high school. I had a baby, he was transferred to New Jersey, I was going to be a public school teacher and, a whole series of quick events, and I had been a high school debater, and the boys in high school debate back in Oklahoma had said ‘You should think about law school.’ And so I read up, found out there was a law school in Newark, drove in, looked around and thought ‘I could give it a try.’”

Warren told Tractenberg, “I graduated from law school 9 months pregnant, and Amy’s getting a little bigger at that point, and I thought I’d stepped off the train. You know, hard enough to get a job for a woman then, I was about to have a baby and nobody was interested in me. And with that law degree from Rutgers, I hung out a shingle.”

Now she is saying she was fired, when there is no evidence of this at all... and the only evidence we do have completely contradicts that account.

Around the time she filled out the Texas bar registration, she was first listed as a “minority” by the Association of American Law Schools. Between 1986 and 1995, she reported herself as a minority law professor for the group’s directory. In 1989, she began to be listed as Native American while working at the University of Pennsylvania, and in 1995 she approved her listing as Native American at Harvard Law School, which included her in its federal affirmative action forms until 2004.

She says she was told by the principal when she was visibly pregnant that they were going to hire someone else for the position. That has nothing to do with the school board approving her for the next year. That she glosses over it when giving general background history means nothing. At best your claim is ambiguous but you are quick to believe anything that you want to hear. People can't even agree on what Trumps phone transcript means from 2 months ago but you are certain you know what happened in 1971.

Your attempt to find any chink in the armor is cute given that the alternative is the most corrupt and lawless regime we have ever seen. She could wear a purple dildo around all day and deny it's there and she would still be the most qualified, competent, and trustworthy person in the race between her and Trump.

When are you getting to the part where she benefitted in any way from checking the native American box? Beyond that she does have Native American ancestors. So she is technically correct, the best kind of correct.

My man... there is no evidence to support the claim from someone who has a history of lying. She claims in 2019 that she was discriminated against... but has told that story countless times between then and now and never mentioned it - even in her 2014 book when she wrote about the time. And the minutes from the schoolboard reflect that she resigned

Take the L and move on. I don't expect it to change your support but you should be aware that you are ok with a liar as the next President. That's all.

She is a liar just like the orange man.

I can't help you if you don't see why claiming yourself as a URM isn't beneficial - specifically in the college admissions process.

And I used the same argument that lying is a qualification not a disqualifier for being President that I said about Trump when he ran.

I have been clear for years now what my goal is. Why you think I would turn on that goal because Elizabeth Warren might have said something inaccurate 2 times in her life is beyond me. What's next, she stole cookies from the cookie jar? Did she use charity money to pay her sons 7 dollar boy scout fee while claiming to be a billionare?

Why dont you find the candidate for me who has never lied in life. If that's your standard for voting then I guess you wont be voting.

Also, a lot of people resign when they are forced out. It's pretty rare for schools to openly announce a teacher is fired for being visibly pregnant.

lol.

i'm much less concerned about her intentional lies to advance her status than I am her ridiculous and unconstitutional proposals to take over my life

At least the orange man leaves me alone

Well I have caught you in several lies in this thread. So doesnt that invalidate everything you have ever or will ever say?

Okay, and what are these policies that are going to affect your life. List them for me so we can keep score when she wins. We both know Republicans will fight her policies to the death. If you want small government and less spending vote for a democratic President and a Republican Congress.

I can't support someone who is promising to restrict my rights on the hope that the GOP will stop her.

I think you've made a similar point about how your right to not be caged is really important to you.

Again. Please tell me what you are afraid of so we can keep score when the time comes. Anything she does economically can be reversed later. Marijuana prohibition will be permanent. Just the long term harm reduction from that alone will outweigh the 2% of her economic policy she gets passed.

I'll be happy to.

I'll ask the same question of you. What are you afraid of from the orange man?
