The home team lost every game in a seven game series. Has that ever happened before??
I still can’t believe a team we consistently beat has won the WS against a 107 win team. Good Lord.

Best team rarely wins the World Series.
This is dumb.
Check the Nats record after their terrible start (when they had a lot of injuries)
Don't be bitter.
The Nats were the best team this year. Strasburg and Scherzer are 2 of the 4 or 5 best pitchers in the world. Soto and Rendon are the best 3-4 combination in the world.
Congrats to them.
It's a statistical fact that the Nats were not the best team in the 2019 regular season.
Yet they're somehow getting a banner.
Interesting.
aww these things are tough to understand for high schoolers.
you'll get there some day little man.

Look, I'm not the front office that put together a team with Mike Foltynewicz and a rookie as the starters for important playoff games.
Don't be mad at me.
Our rotation did great work against the Cards
Because they won a series of short series.
Yes, those 10 runs in the very important 1st inning of game 5 were the very definition of great work.
Which is what 29 other teams built their rosters for and tried very hard to do.
But couldn't.
I guess the first 4 games don't matter? Also Freeman's error set the tone that inning.
Did the Nats have any games in which they gave up 10 runs in an inning?
The margins are super thin. They separate the winners and losers. It is a very hard game and a bit of luck does play a part.
But it's not a ****ing lottery.
