The home team lost every game in a seven game series. Has that ever happened before??

I still can’t believe a team we consistently beat has won the WS against a 107 win team. Good Lord.

Best team rarely wins the World Series. Nats were built to win a short playoff series.

Check the Nats record after their terrible start (when they had a lot of injuries)

Don't be bitter.

The Nats were the best team this year. Strasburg and Scherzer are 2 of the 4 or 5 best pitchers in the world. Soto and Rendon are the best 3-4 combination in the world.

Congrats to them.

It's a statistical fact that the Nats were not the best team in the 2019 regular season.

the gnats did have the veteran clutchness and laidership when they had their backs against the wall against the Brewers in the WC and game 7 against the Dodgers

Did the Nats have any games in which they gave up 10 runs in an inning?

The margins are super thin. They separate the winners and losers. It is a very hard game and a bit of luck does play a part.

But it's not a ****ing lottery.

Also, managers matter. Dave Martinez gets lots of criticism but he ****ing dominated A.J. Hinch last night.

Going down with a wife beating reliever and a guy who's been overworked instead of Gerrit Cole?
