If I was them I would announce that if Republucans dont convict then that invalidates the law, so they will then, out of their constitutional duty to fight corruption, are going to ask foreign leaders for help investigating the Trump family. And those who refuse to cooperate or pass over incriminating evidence could see significantly worse relations with the US under a Democratic President. For example, Qatar needs to let us know about Kushner trying to pawn off his disaster of a real estate deal on them. Why was Qatar randomly blockaded out of nowhere after reportedly refusing to buy it? Why did later a company partially owned by Qatar buy a 99 year lease of that building for 1 billion dollars with all the money paid upfront?

They have no shame. Where were these people complaining about process when Trey Gowdy was holding secret depositions about Benghazi? Where were they when Ken Starr was conducting secret depositions. They loved secret hearings and abusing the minority when they had the majority. Let put it how they would "You lost the vote. More people voted for Democrats to control the House. If you dont like the rules as Republicans applied during the time they have the majority then you are welcome to try and win some elections to get the majority back, and THEN you can change the rules to be fairer to the minority party. But they wont do that because their plan is to abuse the power when in the majority and then cry bitch and moan and about the unfair rules they set up"

I still don’t think that undecided voters are going to be swayed by the arguments being made by the right on this issue.
I think this is absolutely something that Democrats should play up politically, but also think it’s something that is pointless. Who possibly thinks the senators involved would not support Trump regardless?

No democrat should give any interview to the media without mentioning Kushner's magic bailout of by Qatar owned company who bought a 99 year lease for 1 Billion dollars money up front, Ivanka's trademarks in China being approved the day after she met with their dictator, trying to hold the G7 at his run down and failing golf course in Florida, the raising of the prices at Maralago which is outright selling access to the President for personal profit, the billion dollar real estate deal in India, and his tax returns. It would go something like this
"Let me start by saying that I am happy the President is taking a stand on corruption. Specifically his disgust at Nepotisim. That is why I have no doubts that the President will honor his obligation to fight corruption wherever it may be by fully cooperating with investigations into his son in law and White House employee Jared Kushner's billion dollar bailout of 666 fifth avenue by a Qatar owned company with a 99 year lease for a billion dollars up front not long after they were randomly blockaded for no apparent reason, Jred makes the worst buy in the history of real estate and cant get anyone to bail him out, Trump wins all of a sudden he gets a sweetheart deal weeks before he defaults by a company owned by a foreign country. How does he go from no leverage to a billion dollars up front. I also have no doubt that the President will demand China investigate how Ivanka got trademarks approved the day after meeting the Chinese leaders. He said it himself, he has a constitutional duty to fight corruption wherever it may be. "

Works both ways. I want you to know that when the narrative changes to from "Democrats trying to impeach Trump is going to help him get re-elected in 2020" to "He only lost because of the investigations and thats not fair" I will be waiting to mock you endlessly.
