Yes, the situation with the Bidens was investigated already and no criminal wrongdoing was found. The intent was to use "the" Ukraine's public announcement as campaign propaganda. If Republicans want to use the defense that the guy who goes mental any time he is investigated is a determined corruption fighter but it's just a coincidence that he only cares about pushing investigations that help him politically......... that's why it's all in on obstructing the process. Your side cant win this based on the facts. They have a dozen witnesses now confirming all this

Basically this is about an attempt to strongarm a vulnerable country into participation in a disinformation campaign. The target of the disinformation campaign would have been the American voter.
It is sad to see so many of chosen one's enablers and defenders trot out this corruption nonsense and other equally absurd defenses for his abuse of office.

Again, this idea that the discussion with Ukraine was because trump was nervous about Biden beating him is just plain wrong and convenient for democrats to spin. However, when you realize he is just investigating corruption in general then its obvious there is nothing wrong with the call.
I understand that those who don't think there was anything wrong with the russia collusion investigation do not agree with this position but that's the place we are all in now.
The house vote was a disaster for the democrats. This thing is going to DOA now in the Senate. There is no obvious crime or wrongdoing. There are arguments being made based on political leaning. Therefore, an irrelevant process that will only increase DJT chances at winning in a landslide. This will galvanize the base and many undecideds.
Lookn at some recent polling with minority men. An avalanche is coming.

I love that thethe thinks Trump is this great selfless fighter of corruption. The imagery is quite funny. Just like all the Trumpets that think he's sacrificed making billions to save the country from the brink when he's been using his power to influence markets with tweets and using his businesses as access (increasing mar-a-lago membership fees by like 200%, countries buying out hotel rooms for access).
