We wouldn't be a planet.

I like the last quote though. Considering the Moon does affect our moods and mindsets and such, having a large planet like Jupiter next door would probably make us considerably different people.

Having Jupiter as a roommate would make us considerably less alive.

I didn't know what you were talking about, and didn't want to look like a big dumb dumb in the Science thread. Which is now making me look like a bigger dumb dumb. And an article just popped up somewhere today about 'Are We on the Verge of Extinction?' or something, and I saw TED attached to it. I was like, Hey, that's Dalyn's TED! So, my interest piqued, I researched it a bit. Sounds like a fascinating convention!
