Some video of Tucker Davidson throwing 100 mph out today.
That makes him a pretty intriguing pen prospect if nothing else.

So where is Donaldson going??
Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Rangers have agreed to terms with Todd Frazier, pending a deal.
Details of the contract aren't known at this point. The Rangers have been connected to Anthony Rendon, Josh Donaldson and Nolan Arenado this offseason but for now will settle for Frazier at third base. The veteran infielder figures to see some time at first base against left-handers, as well. Frazier batted .251/.329/.443 with 21 home runs across 499 plate appearances for the Mets last season.

I’d be surprised if it’s over 100 at this point.
From what we’ve heard it seems like the offers are roughly:
Nats 4/90 with deferments
Twins 4/85
Braves “nowhere near the highest offer”
Then the Nats went and signed a slew of veteran options capable of filling the 3b/2B/1b positions.
Maybe the Braves can get him for 3 years after all.

I hope the Braves stay clear of the highest offer as well. I want him back but not at the ridiculous quotes that were thrown around earlier.

Is it possible the Braves prefer Bryant for 2 years but will fall back to JD and 3 years but only at their price?
I think this may be why a deal is taking so long. The Braves aren't bending on the Donaldson offer plus they have Bryant as a backup plan.

Man, not sure this benefits Donaldson though. His suitors appear to be quickly moving on. He may end up somewhere he doesn't want to be for less than he expects
