Funny that the country is willing to bankrupt It’s self to save a few thousand people. Yet they allow fast food places to save garbage to the dumb masses that kill a hell of a lot more.

You should read up on heart disease and primary causes. Also look at the growth chart over the years as the masses continue to eat garbage. Sure it is a sensationalist view and a bit extreme. Maybe I should equate it to the SARS virus and it’s mortality rate instead.

I am all for Americans playing it safe but if you think locking yourself up in your home is good idea, then you are a fool. One if you get mail you are not safe. Two the economy is going to tank because of this. We will feel the impact of this long after the last person dies from this virus.

Simply washing hands. Not touching face and limiting exposure to the elderly would be just as effective as all this bull crap the media and panicked public is driving.

SARS infected 8,000 people globally over one year... COVID-19 has infected close to 200,000 in about 4 months... its called exponential growth and its not good. With 6,500 worldwide COVID-19 deaths, we have almost had as many COVID-19 deaths as SARS cases. You are likely going to be safe because you're a healthy person. However, all the while you may infecting those you love. With exponential growth of a disease with no vaccine and an incubation period of up to 14 days, I respectfully say you do not know what you are talking about. We haven't seen a disease this contagious, that spreads this fast, in modern history. The measures being taken are not overreactions. And those measures are not media driven, they are being handed down from the WHO, CDC, and the leading infectious disease expert in the nation (Trump's expert who said hundreds of thousands of Americans if not more could die if we don't take extreme measures). If it ends up not being a huge deal in America, good... then all of this actually worked.

Also, if you're just going out and about doing whatever you want in groups of people, with a 14 day incubation period, you aren't limiting exposure to the elderly... this isn't about you and your health, its about everyone else.

Except that social distancing has literally proven effective every time it has been instituted. This isn't some new ideology.
