Last month, an article depicting him as an agent of the “deep state” gained nearly 25,000 interactions on Facebook — meaning likes, comments and shares — as it was posted to large pro-Trump groups with titles such as “Trump Strong” and “Tampa Bay Trump Club.”

Is there a study being done that compares the number of deaths from other illnesses from prior years?

That would show if medical professionals are being too aggressive with call a death a covid related one.

5000 deaths now. On March 1st we had one.

Like Trump said, 35k died from the flu and we didn't shut down the country. Why do we have to shutdown the country over 5000 deaths!?
 
For those of you who said Trump isn't responsible or has any power to do anything and the states have to manage this...

Two of Trump's Stooges, Gov. Kemp of Georgia and Desantis of Florida both said they received calls from Trump to issue the stay at homes.

Desantis went even further and said he was only waiting for directives from Trump to issue the stay at home, this whole time.

Kemp making Georgians look stupid, because he said during his presser that the main reason he decided it was time to issue the order was because a doctor told him the day before that COVID could be transmitted by people who are asymptomatic... I wish that was a joke. What the hell was he paying attention to the last 2 months?

DeSantis and Kemp racing to show Daddy Trump who can manage their state more incompetently on the same level as The Don to prove their worth.

Mike DeWine is apparently the only governor in the Republican Party who has taken this seriously and not wait for Daddy Trump to give him the go ahead.

Alabama still has not issued a stay at home. South Carolina did too after McMaster had a talk with Trump.

I have no doubt that DeSantis and Kemp kept their states open for Trump because every other economic powerhouse state had already moved to a stay at home. Trump was their kingmaker. He campaigned and championed both when they ran for Governor. They're loyal to him because in both states, neither was the top GOP candidate heading into the race. Both also had some ridiculously racist campaign ads too.

Texas I think has yet to issue one? Not sure.

Sturg is all about suing people for invading property rights. That's why hr doesn't believe in the EPA and thinks the common man should sue corporations that pollute and destroy their water and rivers once they have committed the crime, not have the EPA enforce regulations to prevent it from happening in the first place.

So if someone gets covid and gets you sick, you just file a lawsuit against them when you're both about to die. Whoever lives last, laughs last, albeit won't be able to laugh because your lungs will be on a ventilator.

It's easy to say the boy died due to complications arising from Covid 19. That was not said.

If you read the thread that I posted mid day yesterday you'll see a trend.

One of the ways COVID-19 presents itself is procrastination on the part of public officials. Clinicians say it is very consistent in that regard.

DeWine has been on top of it. Maybe the most pro-active of the governors. There is no doubt he has saved many lives.
