The Coronavirus, not the beer

It's possible to find irony in the Boris situation without wishing he die.

It's terrible he's sick, but shouldn't ignore the decisions he's made publicly in the past few weeks to put himself in that situation.

I'm not sure what it is with Boris and Pence and Trump trying to look alpha by showing the public they're gonna shake hands and not wear masks.

I wish Boris Johnson a quick recovery. Acknowledging the a grim irony in his situation is gonna be unavoidable, however, like it was with Rand Paul and Rudy Gobert.

c2c is right though, that feeling "glee" about his situation shows a lack of human empathy.

Cant be risking hurting anyone.

Gotta have our overlords protect us.

Driving is an interesting issue for libertarians. How do you feel about:

1) The requirement to have a driver's license and all that it entails (especially the requirement to pass an eye test)

2) The requirement to have insurance

3) The requirement to have your car inspected

4) The requirement to have airbags

5) The requirement to wear seat belts

States have a right to make their own rules if they wish. But my personal thoughts:

1. Dont think a license is necessary... or least consistently required to renew

2. Ok with liability insurance

3. stupid. Just tax revenue

4. I want airbags. But dont think they should be required

5. I wear my seatbelts, but dont think it should be required

I presume sturg objects to all criminal laws whatsoever, since even the most basic are edicts from the "overlords" that restrain personal liberty for the protection of others and/or the public.

No law but tort law, that's the life for me*.

*well, sturg.
