The Coronavirus, not the beer

Louisiana's LT Gov. (R) was on CNN earlier. He said the reason they didn't act on mardi gras, is because they had no intelligence about how bad corona would be. They didn't receive any guidelines from the federal government, and no intel briefing. This was February 25th.

So since Trump says it's the States faults for being underprepared, does this mean all 50 states now need their own intelligence agencies so they can know something that absolutely should have been shared with by the federal government?

Wasn't an owner. But was a GM. The most analytics minded GM in the NBA actually.

But still, point taken.

I just find it humorous thethe keeps posting these things as if those of us actually side with the CCP. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I don't follow what the CCP is propagandizing, I only judge the President based on what we know. And yesterday's presser was just another campaign event sideshow for him. There really is zero reason for him to be up there talking.

He already said it's not his fault and it's up to the states, ok so that means you're useless and shouldn't be up there. Just let the doctors/scientists talk and walk away.

If we listened to trump all along se wouldnt be in this spot with shortages.

I hated the press conference yesterday from all angles. Just ****ing stupid.

The press will continue to bait trump because they know how stupid they look over the CCP virus fear mongering which turned out to be a bad flu.

Sweden is making the whole 'expert' world look useless.

SO much of the establishment sold out America its sad. You have people on the left that are DYING for China style rule and people on the right who think its ok to trade with a group of thugs that poison the world and purposefully withhold information on a pandemic (They probably released).

The whole system needed to be blown up and that is why we have Trump. He started the movement of really questioning who everyone calls an expert but has gotten every big thing wrong the past 20 years (similar to here with Russia collusion and CCP virus hysteria (BUT PEOPLE ARE DYING!!!!!)).

What we will now see is the formation of a new party that actually cares about the middle class and doesn't allow a rogue nation to steal our wealth.

Really hard to compare us to Sweden. They have a healthier population. They only have 10 million people, we have a very diverse population of 375 million. Great country though.

This is the whole point though. The virus effectively a non-factor to an overwhelming percentage of the population.

Making people under 50 with no pre-existing conditions stay inside was arguably the worst decision the world has made since the Bush/Cheaney invaded Iraq. It will be studied for centuries for its stupidity.

Not sure when I said that. But, he has been pushing to move manufacturing back to North America for decades (crickets).

He did ban travel after Fauchi and the WHO thought it was a bad idea.


What Trump did get wrong is doing the lockdown all together in the form that it was done. That was a terrible decision and it may cost him the election.

Fortunately, he is running against someone that doesn't even know he is running so he will be gifted a second term.

Honestly, if you look at the data there is an argument to be made that even the elderly with no underlying health conditions should not be self-quarantining. The virus effectively doesn't kill anyone who is healthy.
