The Coronavirus, not the beer

The man wants the power of the government to enforce our house arrest so he can feel safe.

Youve prescribed cajun as an ultra conservative as he fully supports Bernie so not sure you're the authority on this

Who knew that politics could be so complex.

Cajun is more of an anchorite

The same people begging for protesters not being essential will be the same people saying Trump let the economy go to hell in 2 months

It's like clockwork

Ah, yes, classic... nationalism?

Boy, if this isn't the most sturg false equivalence of all time. I believe I made the wild observation that cajun, the dude who says he is voting for Justin Amash, is "not a leftist."

I appreciate that sturg is now fully committed to being a COVID truther, repeatedly shouting the word "MODELS" into the void. But let's make sure not to hurt his feelings by calling him a conspiracy theorist.

Conspiracy theorist has not been what you all think it means on this board history.

I have to give Trump credit.

The way he has to balance these press conferences, by catering mostly to his base and giving them the propaganda they want to hear, and then for 20 seconds pretend to look like he knows what he's talking about for the rest of the country, it's gotta be mentally taxing for him.

Like bull**** he denies having any knowledge of having his name printed on the stimulus checks, then quickly says he's sure lots of people will be excited to have a big fat check with his name on it then quickly going to the next question.

sturg was the dude that gave all his classmates and teachers a link to the loose change documentary in high school to show them how woke he was about 9/11.

Not sure how mocking models that have to be revised every 3 days is a conspiracy theory...

But whatever makes you feel better about your fear

Data changes when variables in play change.

This is not a new concept to statistics. I'm pretty sure I learned that concept in my statistics class in high school.

You are dealing with 50 different states, with 50 different policies on what's going on. 8 states still have held out from any type of shelter in place, and a state like Florida that begrudgingly waited until a week ago to sign an order (and admitted he was just taking his orders from DJT) to take action. DeSantis is already talking about re-opening schools soon.

Social Distancing and Mitigation are two variables that aren't exactly static and not universal around the country. But they absolutely have had an impact on slowing this virus' damage.
