Hey idiot, I adjusted the rate to match Sweden's population. These are in pretty optimal settings, places that don't have exceptionally high population density, have a lot of faith in their government, they have a pretty rock solid economy, and free quality health care.

Very smart people can nevertheless be very dumb or misguided in particular directions. I’m reminded of Isaac Newton, possibly the single most intelligent person in history, who nonetheless spent most of his life focused on Alchemy and thinking about how cool being a virgin is.

OK. That has nothing to do with what we were actually talking about or what the SUPREME COURT ruled. Also, small town judges make rulings all the time and see them overturned in higher courts.
 
I respect Musk. He's incredibly intelligent. But I think I'll take the advice of the vast majority of medical experts when we're talking about a medical issue. I do think phasing out of lockdowns does need to happen in certain areas. Georgia is being intentionally dumb right now however.

Incredibly intelligent is an understatement. He is a more evolved human being. Pretending epidemiologists are more skilled than him is insanity.

Musk probably could learn everything they know in less than a week and know it 10x better.
