The Coronavirus, not the beer

Its a p4 lab.

Coronavirus was being tested there.

This isn't challenging and the response of it's just China is well laughable.

You know what else is just 'China'? Releasing a virus to obtain long term world dominance which is their stated ****ing goal.

You don't know what a p4 lab is. Stop being obtuse

If you did you'd know there's a P4 in Boston, maybe it was spread by the US all along!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

This is just Trump trying to defect. Origin doesn't matter, taking care of it matters. Stop wasting time and resources on this bull**** and incentivize research scientists to find a treatment and to find a vaccine. Worry about the origin later. That **** is secondary. This would be like investigating what Zero dropped the most bombs on Pearl Harbor.

A new deadly virus comes from an area that happens to have one of the few p4 labs in the world.

You guys are funny.

generally I agree that KISS (keep it simple stupid) is the way to go on such matters...complexity is usually a means of hiding special favors to the politically favored...and yes the idea of universal income relief makes a lot of sense until the labor market stabilizes

btw Milton Friedman was an advocate of a UBI on distinctively libertarian grounds

There are about 55 in the world. I wouldn't call that a few.

This is conspiracy theory bull**** that's distracting. If Trump was a leader he would be mobilizing the US industrial lines to build PPE and medical equipment like it's the war and incentivizing labs to get treatments and vaccines. Instead he's recommending injecting bleach, standing out in the sun and getting back to work while blaming China. The time to blame and sanction is later, the time to get this **** nipped in the bud was 4 months ago.

No what's nonsense is that our President isn't doing his job and is instead spitballing ****. He had a shot to lock down his re-election with a strong showing, instead he looks more childish than ever. It's gonna be rough because the DNC is moronic.

left and right has come together to realize UBI is gonna happen and is needed

well, some realize that

It wasn't a slam dunk but it was a wide open layup. All he had to do was bench himself and let the CDC do their thing.

Ah yes.

Government forces 30m people put of work.

"See! Told you you needed UBI!"

Unrelated but wasnt Milton's support based on a negative income tax?

UBI was being talked about before this

this just showed it would be even more helpful

even your boy is in favor of it in the short term lol

but you are the "well, some realize that"

Colorado Lockdown Protester Arrested For Possession Of Pipe Bombs

A 53-year-old Colorado man who was planning an armed protest against his state’s coronavirus restrictions was arrested by federal agents for allegedly possessing four pipe bombs in his home, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Monday.

The man, Bradley Bunn, was arrested by agents at his home in Loveland, Colorado, after FBI and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm and Explosives agents found four pipe bombs and other potential pipe bomb components inside the house.

While it’s not clear what he planned to use the bombs for, Bunn popped up on federal law enforcement radar after encouraging people to bring assault rifles to a planned

May 1 protest against Colorado’s coronavirus restrictions on social media, ABC News reports.

The social media posts were described as “angry and aggressive” by one official who spoke to ABC News.

The FBI also said that Bunn had previously brought high-powered weapons to protests in front of the Colorado state Capitol.

Officials received information that Bunn was in possession of pipe bombs, according to ABC, and Bunn was arrested before he could attend the May 1 rally; the bombs and gunpowder were taken to a range where they were detonated.

Milton Friedman was an early advocate. It has a solid libertarian pedigree.

I'm cool with abolishing income taxes too

Then there's the libertarian cohort of UBI fan boys, spearheaded by Milton Friedman and Charles Murray. The crowd at Yang's Washington, D.C., rally on April 15 burst into applause at the mention of Friedman. But the famous free-market economist's idea of UBI doesn't square up with Yang's. Friedman advocated for a negative income tax, which replaces levies on low-income individuals with supplemental funds from the government. Friedman's plan consequently ensures that everyone in society receives a guaranteed minimum income, but it doesn't redistribute money to people who don't need it.
