Antifa

True. He did guarantee it

No I didn't. But whatever you can believe what you want. Biden won because of deals he cut leading into super tuesday which left multiple states where he was polling 3rd or lower and allowing him to win. It's a great tactic. But as I recall I said if Bernie wins Super Tuesday he wins the whole thing, but not getting Minnesota was a huge loss, not getting Mass was a huge loss. If you look at the pools before those 2 dropped out, Sanders was looking much better, but throwing the majority of Klobuchar and Buttigieg voters into Biden shot him into victory.

Too lazy to look it up, but memory serves you predicting a need for 1 vs 1 for Bernie yo take them.

That's what you got and he got destroyed

Actually I remember you saying Sanders would win if it was just him versus Biden. And then everyone dropped out and Biden won Michigan and some of the other remaining races.

Sanders was winning. Then he was losing.

The interesting question is what changed. I think there was a fair amount of voters deciding the main thing they wanted was to get very poorly chosen one out of there. The revolution was put on ice. Maybe later.

The thing that kind of gets unnoticed is that the so-called centrists (Biden, Klobuchar) are actually pretty progressive. Biden has moved to the left over the years. The glass is more than half full for liberal Democrats. And yet the Bernie Sanders crowd is still unhappy. I think there is some downright disrespect coming from the left for a big part of the Democratic party that consists of the many African American and Latino voters who are moderate or even conservative. Politics is a coalition building exercise, at least as practiced in this country. The Republicans have lost sight of that and are going to pay a very big price for it.

Sure would have been nice to have a candidate who actually proposes and cares about fixing our broken justice system right now. Maybe we wouldnt have this mass protests and looting if there was a good option on this issue in November. As it stands now our options are a guy who cheers on police brutality or a guy who was to the right of Reagan and Bush Sr on criminal justice.

They are in a way similar to antifa. But unlike Antifa who basically are violent counter protesters to Neo Nazis and Fascists. They basically believe that if people fought harder against the Nazis before they got political power, then Nazi Germany wouldn't have happened. They don't have an endgame goal, they just react. Boogaloo Bois have an end game goal. To accelerate to the next civil war.

I don’t question the motives of Antifa. They literally set up tables in Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley to recruit students to participate in protests, so I had my opportunity to talk with them in a calmer setting. I remember a specific conversation with one about free speech. What he advocated for was unconstitutional, but I believed his intentions were pure.

I have never interacted with a Electric Boogaloo before. I am sure it’s ranks are filled with morons that feel increasing left out of modern society. It’s a dangerous ideology that should be snuffed out.

Be careful when you defend violent protests. “Fascist” is merely a label. Their definition of a fascist or Nazi is different than the mainstream.

Yeah. We're all fascists or useful idiots in their book. They're a little cult of enlightened people.

We don't nees cops to thank people for protesting we need them to reign in their unions and not fight common sense reforms. They can quit if they dont like it. We cant quit.
