So I've been sucked into the world of the stock market. I'm still new to game, but I really enjoy it so far. Lost a bit of money overall the last week or so, but most of my portfolio is built on strong brands that are long plays after the pandemic ends.


What are your stocks currently? Anyone do much day trading?
 
I've dabbled in some penny stocks too. Been a little hitt or miss, but I'm up about $250 playing penny stocks. KTOV was a good earner for me with a 70% gain.
 
Long term vision. You still bought in at great numbers and youll be happy a year from now.
 
I bought a lot of OAS when it was .50 a few weeks ago. It jumped to $2.00 and I should had unloaded it for a decent payday but it’s down to .75 now.

I’ve been actively playing with stocks for over a decade. I’m more of a long guy since I’m 43 and not a big day trader. In my earlier days I bought a stock named NVDa that I bought for $20 and unloaded for $25. I had about 40-50 shares. A few years after I unloaded it, it jumped to $350 a share.

My biggest bust was buying ACB (a Canadian cannabis company). At $7-$8 a share. It fell to just over a dollar.
 
Anyone follow Dave Portnoy from Barstool? He’s got enough followers basically all he invests in goes up temporarily. Crazy

I’m surprised the SEC hasn’t knocked on his door yet. He’s joked and laughed about pumping and dumping.

Hes hilarious.

He hasnt done anything wrong.

And he is gonna cost a lot of people a lot of money. Already has based on his reqs.

Tell me he is not a young version of Trump. Dave says the same kind of outlandish insults about everyone, he never, ever apologizes, says he’s a master at everything and he never admits defeat.

Wouldnt let him manage my money. Nor.would I let Trump
 
Can't stand Portnoy outside of his Pizza videos, but even those are unbearable sometimes as he's so full of himself. But good tip about his temporary stock tip gains.
 
I think if trump loses the election, the Dow will lose about 8 to 9,000. We’ll either be at 30,000 or 16,000 come Inauguration Day.

Did anyone get in Kodak after the Trump news the other day? You'd be rich AF if you were holding a couple thousand shares on Tuesday morning.
 
Didn't realize you could invest in the Braves. $BATRK. Actually a decent entry point currently, but if baseball calls it quits, its gonna tank again.
