The Coronavirus, not the beer

Kinda comical that Mr. Marx McCarthy wants a corrupt administration to control the data privately and cheer it. I hope the irony isn’t lost on anyone because it’s very funny stuff you can’t even make up.

You say its corrupt based on fake news. Guess what...the corruption was proven to be a coup.

People pretending the data could be worse isnjust more political posturing. There is a clear attempt to make the situation seem worse than it is to keep us locked down.

Now why would some people want that? It couldn't have to do with Nov 4th could it?

Politics and conspiracy theories have destroyed your mind dude.

Hasnt this state been wearing masks for months?

Humans are so vein. They actually think they have the power to control mother nature.

The strategy has been clear for 5 months. But doing that would have helped trump so we couldn't do that.

I mean, we actually can deal with this ****, thethe. Just because it's nature doesn't mean we should just sit back and spread our arms wide and scream, "Take me, Lord!"

Oh...i want to deal with it but protecting the only population actually at material risk.

A guy I know just posted on Facebook that he is asking for prayers cause his dad is in icu with covid

They have been anti mask, maga/trump ****s the whole time

In a sense, the disagreement over the pandemic largely resembles a much larger friction in society: should individuals be left free to pursue their own interests and weigh risks themselves or should they be guided, coerced, and protected by planners who want to do all this for them.

As Ludwig Von Mises noted long ago, modern social conflict is largely a struggle over who gets to design the world, individuals or authorities. Mises saw few things more dangerous than central planners seeking to supplant the plans of individuals with plans of their own, which they see as a preeminent good.

Simple minded people love when others make decisions for them.

“What those calling themselves planners advocate is not the substitution of planned action for letting things go. It is the substitution of the planner’s own plan for the plans of his fellow-men. The planner is a potential dictator who wants to deprive all other people of the power to plan and act according to their own plans. He aims at one thing only: the exclusive absolute pre-eminence of his own plan.”

This is the crux of it.

Leftists want to control and make decisions for me. This has become a battle of liberty vs control, with the virus as the excuse to do it.

Sadly so many people eagerly submitted to their overlords and shockingly, the overlords want more power.

I suspect though, that things will magically get better November 4th
