Freddie can roll outa bed and be readier than most, but 60 games in 66 days is gonna be grueling. Snit's gonna have to be creative to find him rest time and Freddie needs to sit out as much as possible the first few weeks.

I'm in the opposite camp. With the season like 9 weeks long players need to be balls to the wall from day 1.

Why would you say something like that when you know how easy a player can tweak a muscle and miss half the season?

Injuries and testing positive for the virus will likely be the major factor in this shortened season, assuming they can get it in. The team surely needs to be laser focused from day 1 but players need to be smart and pay attention to their bodies. I predict a lot of injuries at first and players trying to play anyway.

Freddie gave an account of his symptoms while he was sick. One night he had a fever or 104.5 and he said he said a prayer not to die. Also had body aches, chills, and lost his sense of taste and smell while he was sick. He said he feels fine now and only lost 1 pound while sick.

I think it's a safe assumption to say that hundreds of MLB players have been infected with Covid virus at some point. Have there been any hospitalizations yet?

Athletic men in the prime of their lives? Probably not.

It’s almost like there are others around they are also worried about. You know like their parents, coaches, umpires, people with underlying conditions, or premature babies they may live with.

Some adults, even baseball players, are able to think of people other than themselves and how their actions affect those other people.

Some people cry because they feel oppressed by wearing a mask.
