GDT 7/21

Apparently EVERYTHING was off speed for Folty, makes sense, still not great though.

I honestly thought his change up was his best pitch last night.

They probably should have traded Folty while he had some value. He never has (and in my opinion), never will be consistent enough to be what we see flashes of him being.

Maybe he has given us more value than we could get in return (probably the case). I have never added him to my future rotation plans. I just never have seen him being any more than a #3, because you never know what Folty will show up.

When he is good...he is electric. He is fools gold though, because the bad is sooooo bad.

Folty is an average to above average starter. With the Braves being contenders he's a guy you keep but don't extend. Just let him walk via FA and thank him for his time.

Just like last year

This time though it is very much real. I am against the DH with no chance of coming around, but it might save the Braves chances at a 3-peat. These starters outside Soroka and possibly Fried are gonna give up runs. This season has 1984 feel to it, not a bad team but not a really good one either.

Hopefully it’s enough of an excuse to fire Snit the Twit
