The Coronavirus, not the beer

Again, this has nothing to do with my point.

But like always, you are the king of non sequiturs and false equivalencies.

So covid is super deadly and requires mass compliance for lockdowns... except for the massive protests of which I politically agree with.

Does that cover it?

An update on this:

Luckily we never tested positive. But even more lucky is that the in-laws recovered pretty quickly. Symptoms were fairly mild for them. Mother in law ran a fever off and on for a couple days and had a slight cough. Father in law never had anything worse than a cough. Both have fully recovered and returned to work yesterday.

Glad you guys all came out at least relatively unscathed. :)

That literally has nothing to do with what I said. But how libertarian of you to **** on a group of people for standing up for social injustice and equality. It's definitely very white of you.

it really is the best

Here's an article about the video making waves.

The clip, which was originally posted by the right-wing news site Breitbart, featured four people who identified themselves as doctors speaking in front of the Supreme Court building. One was Stella Immanuel, who claims to be a physician in Houston, and said hydroxychloroquine, a malaria drug often touted by Trump, was a cure for COVID-19.

She speaks like she's been on the frontline fighting Covid -19 for months using the malaria drug. Or has she been scamming suckers with "fire power cures" from a strip mall in Houston?

Immanuel has an unusual background for a self-proclaimed COVID-19 expert. Information about her medical background is limited; however, she does serve as the head of Fire Power Ministries, which appears to be located in a Houston strip mall and promotes a baptism of fire program that offers “miracles, healings and deliverance.”

It's rather odd that this is the woman OO is touting? She sounds credible, but then again, most scam artists do.

Stay tuned. The Lamestream media is on the case now and the truth should be coming soon.

As you might guess, Stella Immanuel isn't her real name. lol

if you have gynecological problems

she also claims youre having sex with demons in your dreams

top notch doctor it sounds like

How many times do i need to explain that i support peaceful protests against police brutality.. yall keep saying the same dumb shut over and over.

In this scenario, What is the social injustice?

The cops responsible were arrested within 5 days and are facing murder charges.

Meanwhile, 28 other people - majority of them black - have been killed during the protests.

Not to mention destroyed black communities from the rioting.

But if you can explain the social injustice that is being protested, I'm all ears.

again, you still think the protests are just about one incident

you either are willfully ignoring that it's about more or just too stupid

still would love the citations and sources for the 28 deaths

you still going with the whitewashing "peaceful protest" line/thinking too

you still going with the whitewashing "peaceful protest" line/thinking too

Minnesota asked the feds for $5 billions for damages caused by protesters.

Thats just one city.

There's a body count growing too.

Your willful ignorance on this is stunning. But I don't why I continue to be surprised

and we STILL have to get around the "covid is bad and deadly and you can't go to church, and locksown protests mean your a granny killing white supremacist"... "but you can protest a cause I like" logic

where did someone say that is injustice?

also, what weird definition are you using where just charging people with crimes is justice?

why do you still think the protests are just about this one incident still?

none of what you said has anything to do with what you quoted

i keep asking for citations for the body count and keep getting radio silence

also, ask how your body count compares to the other sides body count and get silence

many protests might be 99% peaceful protesters, but you will have that 1% antifan chucklehead element...cities like oakland, portland, and seattle actually have a lot of experience dealing with this...it happens every time there is a protest in those places...the police in those cities know the worst thing they can do is overreact...if they do the crowds get bigger and angrier and it becomes more difficult to isolate and arrest the antifan chuckleheads...and the property damage gets bigger

it is really a question of calibrating the law enforcement response to the reality that people in a protest will have different objectives

It is important to remember that a few bad cops are all cops.

But a few bad protestors are not all protestors

i have seen way more good protesters either turn in bad protesters to cops or try to stop protesters from damaging the window you so dearly care about

as opposed to any cop to step up and stop a cop from beating the living **** out of someone just standing there or spraying them in the face with pepper spray etc etc etc

i love that you still here bootlicking for them though

It is important to remember that a few bad cops are all cops.

But a few bad protestors are not all protestors

bad apples are an issue both with police and protestors

i think with police there is the additional issue that culture/unions are a very powerful force against reform...it is a reality that has to be taken into account...no one advocates abolishing police, but I think what Camden did is a model some cities might want to look at

Which part of "I'm not exactly a supporter of protests during a pandemic" was hard for you to understand?

You can be both wary of the risks of protesting during a pandemic while also acknowledging this a vastly different situation than going to a concert or a baseball game.

Where is the injustice of someone being arrested and charged for murder?

The injustice is that police felt so empowered that this was an ok use of force in the first place. I know it's difficult for you to grasp, but this country tends to have a history of targeting black people, and police officers have a history of abusing their authority. It's a crazy notion, I know.

If we funded protestors to protect us, your point might be valid.

You can arrest the bad apple protestors. The bad apple cops slip through the system constantly.

But please, keep up with the false equivalencies.

Another aspect to this comparison that is being overlooked is that you actually have to be hired as a cop. Anyone can just show up and be a protestor. Cops are hired. Bad cops are hired. There is a problem with the system that is allowing this people to not only get the job, but keep it long after they should've been fired.
