The Coronavirus, not the beer

At what point do we realize that everyone is going to get exposed to this.

Other countries are spiking again and the great blue states are again as well.

Its inevitable.

The elderly need to take extra precautions. The rest of us need to get on with things.

The curve was successfully flattened

Cant help but laugh at Cain. Like I said early in this thread when we were told people could get it and spread it before even knowing they are sick we are ****ed. The best answer was to stop it from getting here but we will never know what would have happened with a competent response.

Tulsa rally June 20th

Cain hospitalization July 1

Average time between infection and hospitalization has generally been thought to be in the 10-15 day range for those who end up getting hospitalized.

prior to the rally, he tweeted about not needing to wear a mask at the rally, and people being fed up.
he almost certainly caught it at the rally.
but it's over, right guys? nothing to worry about? carry on like normal? send kids to school, only a few of them will die?
the gop is an absolute disgrace.

Older people like Cain should take extra precautions.

The data is clear on this.

When will the party of science embrace the data?

Anyone got a list of states with most deaths per million? I bet red states are doing terrible compared to blue, right?

i dunno...i was looking at a list of states with the lowest life expectancy...all red states

does that mean having the GOP in charge leads to shorter lives?

Sounds like Herman Cain has died.

Didn't like his politics but he was a good guy.

Sadly there will be many celebrating his death

People celebrating the deaths of those they disagree with politically always sickens me. Even if you don't like what someone believes or you feel their beliefs makes them culpable for great harm, that shouldn't cross the line into wishing them dead. It's a short step from thinking someone who disagrees with you politically's death is good to wanting to execute those who disagree with you. If it's good that a political opponent is dead, wouldn't causing the deaths of political opponents also be a good thing?

has anyone been celebrating his death

By the way, my state might as well be blue when it comes to deaths per million to covid. We suck. We do have some built in problems facing this disease though: we fat, one of the highest black population per capita, and Choctaw Indians are being devastated here.

right now that positivity rate is leading the country

hopefully you get it turned around soon

i do wonder about not taking the medicare expansion that is on the table from the ACA...seems like a no brainer to me...Bill Waller wanted to go for it and he aint exactly a socialist

there were confirmed Florida data issues in July that I posted about. If memory Texas had a similar issue. And VA was caught withholding negative tests around Memorial Day.

I posted about a few of these on this thread... didn't get much of a response, oddly enough

Yes, in a country with 325 million spread across 50 States and countless cities/counties, there is bound to be some statistical errors. Acting like it is some widespread conspiracy to make your boy look bad is laughable. The total US cases are pretty much on par (per million) with similar countries that also had failed to properly handle this pandemic. So I guess it's just a worldwide conspiracy to overthrow the Chosen One?
