When Harden was here the core were babies. HOw many teams that young have ever won anything? Context BRULE context.

KD is also becoming an elite defender. he is not there yet but his on the ball defense has been great this year and his help defense has always been a plus.

But you cited Bynum, who was a baby.....

Yeah, but Bryant and Gasol were vets at teh top of their game. Bynum was just the third piece on that team. No team with a core full of 21-22 year olds have ever won a ring. Its not even debatable.

How did you end up with KD > Kobe, then?

You just said we can't compare but you said KD is better....how? I'm confused...

Kobe has what 5 rings? One of the top scorers of all time, one of the best defensive SGs of all time and KD is better....with ZERO reasoning

Since Kobe was a starter, through age 25:

KD - 26.7 / 6.9 / 3.2

Kobe - 25.22 / 5.81 / 5.32

So, very comparable with numbers on O....one was an elite defender and had won 3 rings....

Again, how has KD been better?

How old was Bynum when Kobe won championships? You just spouted about a ridiculous frontcourt and then made an excuse about their age. So.......?

Thunder are going to have to trade Reggie Jackson this offseason. I hope they win a ring this year.

Only thing working for him and OKC is not a lot of teams need PG's right now.

But if they cant sign him to an extension before the draft, i could see them trade him for a lottery pick.

Yes, I am saying KD > Kobe.

Sure Kobe won without Shaq but then he had Gasol in his prime (great player) and a realtively healthy young Bynum. Lets not act like Kobe is this incredible player that won rings by himself. If KD shot as much as Kobe he would average 34 PPG.

Thats the way some people think it was.

LOL, yes with the most dominating player all-time who got him those 3 titles.

One player.

Name a team who won a title with their core being under 24 years old.

As the KEY players.

The average age of the Lakers roster when Kobe and Shaq won their first ring was 27.63, The average age of the Thunder, last year, was 26.24.

OMG THE THUNDER WERE A YEAR YOUNGER! HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY WIN!?!?!?

I find it hypocritcal thethe. You constantly barage us with talk about how great almost every player on the Thunder is.

Durant- Top 10 all time
Westbrook- Top 5 player now
Ibaka- Top whatever
Jackson- Future top 30
Collison- Best role player in NBA
Thabo- Perfect role player

etc.

Yet, when they don't win, it's because they are too young or this or that. Of they are as good as you hype them to be, it would be impossible for them to not win a championship. Something has to give. If they don't win again this year (when you've stated they should); where do you go from there?
