Nah, brain fart.

Not sure its his doing though.

It's his fault for not being a dictator and stopping it.

Oh, but when he tried to stop it, he's a dictator and is just making things worse.

What we should all do is just be lockdown until Nov 4th to be safe

Actually, his acting like a dictator exacerbated the situations in all of those examples.

In none of those cases were federal forces requested
let alone an unaccountable vigilante mob of mercenaries with nothing else to do

But back to the original point, Presidential elections used to routinely ask, "are you better than you were 4 years ago"

I forgot, Strug got a $4000 windfall
so there is a yay vote

Looking at the wall in front of the White House says it all

Our economy is in shambles

we are unwelcome by most of the other countries in the word for either
a) health reasons
b) ugly american reasons

Our people are divided (hopefully 51-49 )

we are marching our children into a furnace where maybe they will be sick the rest of their lives or maybe not
"it is what it is

and baseball season ?
ias this really a season --- I mean ---

everything including the post office is now political

depression and anxiety over our future (personal and collective) has never been this intense outside a WW

and, everyone is generally pissed the **** off
/////////////

my guess ?
as a nation
No, we aren't better off
////

and one more

look at what he was handed and look what he (maybe) hands off to his successor
was always taught when holding a position to leave it better than you found it.
I don't think anyone with a straight face, can say that is the case today

I don't think anyone, can say that is the case today

anyone paying attention has to have known the guy is a buffoon and clown

then something consequential landed in his in-box

As Paul Harvey used to say "and now you know...the rest of the story"

nsacpi how's the rioting going after the feds left?

Just appease, them right?

it's down in numbers...easier for the police to id the chuckleheads and arrest them...which they have been doing

there is no doubt that the federal presence made things significantly worse

The Second World War ended in 1945. It’s cruel for
DonaldJTrumpJr and family to let
@realDonaldTrump stand out there like this.

......

someone was saying about a debate ...

say what you will about VP Biden but, Trump is the President with the nuclear codes and mans the bully pulpit daily
and lies about everything.

except this, because he simply never knew
3 years ago you might have been able to think he just made a mistake
but, 3 years on ... even the hardened have to wince seeing him say this

Democracies are built on the simple concept that citizens have a right to elect their leaders and have a say in their country’s future. After suffering systematic repression for the past 26 years under the authoritarian regime of President Alexander Lukashenka, the people of Belarus are demanding their voices be heard.

After a presidential election marred by electoral fraud, citizens peacefully protesting to demand an accurate vote count are now being met with riot police using stun grenades, tear gas, and rubber bullets. The Lukashenka regime has cut internet access, arrested protesters and independent journalists, and tried to muzzle foreign observers. These are not the actions of a political leader confident that he has won a fairly conducted election. But thanks to brave citizens — journalists, activists, and ordinary people documenting these extraordinary events — we know the truth about the assaults on democracy being committed by the regime.

I stand with those who are calling for a transparent and accurate vote count and the release of all political prisoners. I also call on President Lukashenka to respect the rights of peaceful protestors and to refrain from further violence. My administration will never shy away from standing up for democratic principles and human rights, and we will work with our democratic allies and partners to speak with one voice in demanding these rights be respected.
