There's no room for Puig now, so why would we be interested?
I'm not the biggest Puig fan out there but the Braves could make room for him. If Ender is going to suck this hard then you would put Neck/Duvall in left, Acuna in center, Puig in right and Ozuna at DH.
Neck and Duvall should really be platooning with each other at this point but can't due to injuries and **** play.

If the discussion is about adding him because we're assuming Acuna's going to miss significant time, I'm not sure that would help matters much - you'd still have Ender in CF.
Not sure it doesn't make more sense to bring Pache up.

If Acuns is out awhile then it wouldn't matter. If he's not then I'd rather due this instead of starting Pache's clock.
Good question. Duvall has been an unexpected surprise this year as his contact rate is better (knock on wood) and he's hanging in there (though not well) against RHPs. A Francoeur-esque HR for the game-winner last night. I think any interest in Puig would hinge on the status of Acuna's wrist, but Puig can't play CF, so unless they would view him as an everyday guy in RF (with a Duvall/Markakis platoon in LF), he probably doesn't make a lot of sense. All this said, they sure could use another bat right now.
We've already secured the extra year of control, and pretty sure he's not going to qualify as a Super Two now that we've waited this long.
If the actual intent is to try to win, folks have to stop acting like the Braves are the Rays. If he's as good as we think he is, he'll be locked-up long before he reaches arbitration - IF he's interested in staying here.
Oh wait - there's NO WAY Ozzie and Acuna sign extensions, I'm sure Pache won't either.
Matchups for the Nats series is, not something i thought it would be when the season started.
Touki vs Sanchez
Tomlin vs Voth
Wright vs Fedde

I don't see the issue with operating how the Rays do business.
Has nothing to do with THE WAY they do business. You've already gamed his clock and have gained the extra control. You've actually probably prevented him from becoming Super-Two eligible as well. You've already saved a ton of money - and done things the Rays' way - by doing so. If you bring Ozuna back to hit behind Freddie, you can game Waters' clock at the start of next season and do the same by playing Ozuna in LF for a month and save even more.
Pache has been handled the way he should have been handled. The last three spots in the order are an absolute black hole, and it's going to start costing you games until Acuna and Ozzie get back and you figure out how to do something with the rotation. Putting Pache in CF tomorrow night would help a ton.
Why give up a full year of control for 35 games in a season that very may be cancelled at some point
