apparently he had to apologize for hitting a grand slam on a 3-0 count when the Padres were up by 7 in the 8th inning?
so maybe. i mean, what a CLASSLESS move. the Padres may not want a guy like that.
Riley, on the other hand, would swing right thru the pitch. pure class from that guy in that situation.

I fear that Tatis Jr. doesn't even love baseball, so maybe I don't want him on the team.
 
Looking at rosters I expect the Angles and Reds to not suck. Anyone know why they suck so much?

The reds looks like a team that have pieces that are interesting and would maybe look at a shake up trade.

Senzel is out of position. Could we get him to play 3B. WOuld you give up Pache and a non-Anderson Arm for him?

The Angels suck because they invite big in positions but leave gaping holes in their team. Rendon is elite but it was dumb for them to sign him. Use the $245 to fill holes and they're much better.

I would LOVE Senzel. He'd be a huge get for Atlanta.

I didn't realize Rendon is taking up 245 million of the Angels payroll this year.

Those Justin Upton and Albert Pujols contracts looking very bad for the Angels.

The Reds look good on paper. Eugenio Suarez is struggling very badly. He was an MVP contender last year.

winkler seems like a very good hitter who is getting part time work there.

They just seem to have a lot of pieces that could be useful. It's not working there. If they wanted to shake things up, I hope we would be offering them some options.
 
The Angels will continue to be one of the stupidest teams in the league. Wouldn’t surprise me for them to massively overbid for Freddie after next season and him go back home to finish his career.

I have to think we'll extend him this offseason. It's not the smart, analytic thing to do, but I expect AA and FF will come to something they can both live with.
