I am approaching 70 and have been in all kinds of situations with all kinds of people.
Unless someone tries to hit me with a skateboard behind my back I am taking the skateboard from that person
If in a bar room and someone tries to punch me I will punch first

which begs the question if one of our forum friend vigilantes saw a man with an AR-15 in a crowd - about to use it, would they not try hitting him with said skateboard ?
