GDT: braves @ gnats 9/10

Marlins playing with some healthy desperation, successfully stealing 3B with one out in the bottom of the ninth.

It's kind of like playing "Would you rather?" as in "Would you rather have a crappy rotation like the Braves or a crappy bullpen like the Nationals?" Nice job by the Braves' pen tonight.

To be fair, the Nationals also have a crappy rotation, despite the continued presence of Scherzer and Corbin.

And INT BB to Rojas puts runners on corners, 1 out

Now second and third, two out, thanks to another steal, followed by a Chisholm strikeout.

Need some of that two-out magic they used against the Braves to continue into this series versus Philadelphia.

Edit: They do indeed prolong the magic. Marlins mirror Braves, win 7-6 in a big comeback.

If we get any semblance of SP in the playoffs then we have a legit chance to win.
Our offense and bullpen are unreal.
Please come back and stay healthy Fried and Hamels.
Please!

It's crazy how night and day this team is with it's pitching. Including tonight's game, the Braves have been outscored in the first 5 innings of a game 152-157. Prorated out to 9 inning games, that's 6.2 runs per game for, and 6.4 runs per game against. In the last 4 innings (not including dumb extra innings), the Braves have outscored their opponents 107-47. That's an average of 5.9-2.6. So basically they're a sub-.500 team in the first 5 innings and a 120-win team in the last 4. I've never seen anything like it.

So you're saying it's imperative the team draws matchups with bad-bullpen teams in the playoffs?
