Please just be a bruise. Even a bone bruise would be fine. Just nothing that could completely change his career.

Would be so Braves to lose Acuna but get Fried, Hamels, Folty back healthy. Hoping just a bone bruise.
 
Acuna will be fine. In my mind, I see him as sort of drama queen. I'm gonna say he's back no later than Monday vs Baltimore

Of course, I was counting on the entire team coming down with COVID-19 right before the playoffs. This option might be worse.
 
Chip keeps saying "he couldn't put any weight on it". How does he know this? Trainers could've told him not to

I’m trying not to overreact but I will be 40 in November and I’ve come to expect bad news close to playoff time.
My son is 12 and I feel sorry he roots for the same teams I do Braves/Falcons/Hawks/GT.

Would be so Atlanta for our SP to come back strong to end the season and to lose Acuna :/

I’m thinking this as well. Should really just be a bruise hopefully. Painful in the moment for sure, but I think yeah he’s back Sunday or Monday.
 
I cannot believe they only got two against him. Fedde was really, really bad tonight. Like, no control, bad command. Boy. Yikes.
 
Im reminded when Chipper took a BJ uptown one hopper in the same spot...took a DL stint and had a disgusting bruise.
 
Matzek has been destroyed by Washington this year, and the Nats are one of the best hitting teams against LHP.
