NBA Thread

Dwight is a horrible offensive player. Anyone that watched the game tonight can clearly see that he has absolutely zero clue how to score the basketball unless its off a rebound or dunk.

I didnt watch the game, but Perk gives him fits dating back to Bos/Orl days.

If we could amnesty him, and sign him back cheap, that would be awesome.

I doubt that is within the CBA. I thought for sure that they would amnesty him and that is still probably the route Presti will take. It doesn't need to happen becuase the cap situation is still favorable. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Perk has played like a monster the last two nights.

Its unlikely.

He will be on an expiring and he will have some value barring injury.

But Adams needs to be starting next year one way or another.

The Thunder probably beat the Spurs last year if they have Harden, even with Russ out.
And now another Thunder player is going to be a well-above average player. It sounds like next year, their second 5 are going to be able to dominate, as well.

KD and RW needed.the ball in their.hands more to.get better. It was time for Harden to go in a different direction. Sure, last year would have been different with Harden(Maybe) but.then what? With no financial flexibility the team would have lacked any depth and KD/RW would not be as good as.they are now. You can laugh at it all you.want but I know this team. It was the right move and apresti just happened to get excellent talent back. Lamb is absolutely going.to.be a good starting player in this league. I just hope ownership is willing to dip into the luxury tax this time because.the team is better constructed.

I watch.the.Rockets and.think to myself that Harden would be our third best player. Why pay your third best player Max money?

Did they win a ring with Harden?

Don't get upset because you are consistently wrong about the Thunder!

If you say so, just hard to understand how a team that wasn't won ****....is the best team in the NBA. But hey, enjoy Ibaka over a top 10 player in Harden....should work out well for you.

No, I still believe Miami is the best team in the NBA. Love the way they play. Sometimes I get all hyped up after a win and say something I don't mean.

Ibaka is so much of a better fit for this team than Harden its not even funny. Harden would be the third best plyaer on the team and he does the same things that KD/RW do. What would the point be of having him on the team? Ibaka is so damn good at what he does which is rim protector/rebounder/pick and pop. That is EXACTLY the type of player you put around KD/RW.

The Harden trade has been GREAT for the Thunder. Lamb and Adams are both starters in this league. They got a one year band aid in Martin that would have looked better had RW not gotten hurt. They used the high second round pick to trade up and get Roberson and they still have another first round pick. Can't wait till the media realizes how stupid they were.

Only sometimes? lol

Harden isnt top 10, one-dimensional player, plays zero defense.

Jackson is a lesser player than Harden and can actually play some defense.

Before you ask, which 10 is better.

In no order.

KD, RW, Wade, Bron, George, LMA, Love, CP3, Curry, Irving/Dirk.

Would throw in Rondo if hes healthy.

Miami

OKC
Indiana
SA

doesn't matter

Until someone beats them that is teh way it should be. I think there is a huge gap between OKC and the next team but thats just me. Its going to come down to those two. Nobody is beating those teams.

I think Harden is up there. He can play defense but he is like Melo and doesn't want to expend the energy on that side of the floor. It doesn't matter because he still isn't better than either KD or RW.
