116th Congress

Does AOC support ending all public sector unions?

And is she similarly appalled at the post office union supporting Biden?

If so, we fully agree!

To me its not so much the union, Cops should have one but when they can and cant kill people should not be negotiated. If they dont like it they can quit. The rest of us cant opt out of having to deal with them. Removing dangerous cops or criminal cops should also not be negotiable. This is one of those times where courts should use that "general welfare" and "public safety" excuses they like to use to take away our rights when it comes to cops.

Trump: AOC, that’s another beauty. She’s the designer of the Green New Deal. She knows nothing about the environment. She probably never studied. If I asked her, how many hours have you taken on the environment.

House of Representatives to vote on full marijuana legalization this month. This wont be allowed to even get a vote in the Senate, which is somehow how a Democracy works? I think more accurately we are a parody of a Democracy. Regardless it's good to have these votes sobwe know who the enemy is. It would probably pass the Senate pretty easily depending on how much reparations are in the bill. Matt Gaetz indicated he would vote for it despite the reparations in the bill which is a good sign.

The scenario I see playing out is Democrats pass legalization and President Biden vetoes it. It's actually popular enough that it might get enough votes to pass with a veto proof majority but we know how Republicana operate. They will bitch, cry, and moan about loaing so badly in 2020 that they dont have control over any branch of the government and will try and obstruct anything Biden does. And Biden, the dip**** like Obama, will continue the policy of trying to appease Republicans who will just turn around and **** all over him for doing so.

Unless the Dems somehow get 60 seats in the Senate, then Biden (if he wins) has to work with Republicans to get things passed. Absent a change in the rules of the Senate, you need 60 senators to do most things. So it's not a "policy of trying to appease Republicans" as much as it is a necessity to actually get things done.

Shumer is not learning the lesson of bad precedent that they are paying the price right now from Harry Reid

Always worth repeating: Women politicians are far more likely than male counterparts

to be threatened and denigrated online. Recent research shows that

@AOC and @IlhanMN

, by a large margin, are targeted with the highest proportion of abuse, hate, & threats
