The Coronavirus, not the beer

Once it was reported that the positive test results were based on overcycling the pcr tests this should have been all over.

Completely contrived pandemic.

Only a sap would believe these death/infection numbers

Every other day I see the NY vs FL graph and am just dumbfounded how people are so blind to what is going on

My father-in-law who lived with us, died this week, not from Covid but his death was surely influenced by it. He sat in the ambulance in front of our house receiving CPR for over 20 minutes while they searched for a hospital to take him. Had he gotten to an emergency room in normal time he may have survived. Hospitals here have strict procedures for taking in emergency patients who might be Covid positive and other things I don't understand. He was old and long-suffering from a stroke and would likely have died anyway, but it revealed how the Covid situation affects and often weakens medical response down the line.

Sorry for your loss.

Sounds to me an example of excess mortality that had nothing to do with the virus but just our political overreaction to get orange man out.

This is the reason no one investigates the excess mortality figures because it will reveal that politicians and lockdowns killed all these people.

and both of y'all have the gall to say other people have been broken

If only you had the requisite intelligence to understand a coherent argument then you'd know that this 'pandemic' was all bull****.

Information is there if you want to escape your bubble.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize how much one bedridden guy could fill up an entire house, but in many ways all activity centered around him. He was the reason my wife and I rebuilt this house and moved in with her parents 7 years ago.

On a baseball note, my best memory with him is when I got to take him to a Carp game, just the 2 of us and when he was still able to sit in a wheelchair. His speech was too weak to understand over the car engine but he listened patiently to my horrible Japanese. We got special treatment at the game, a nice perch area above the seats usually reserved for the cameras. A foul ball came close and I had to try to make a play to protect him. It was a great day for us and gave us a special bond. I know he enjoyed it and like to think that he remembered it to the end. I know I always will.

Yep. He was a huge Carp fan, his wife, my mother in law, even more. I brought him back a Carp towel from a game I went to a couple of weeks ago. (5000 fan limit in the stadium. Got asked by a guy with connections.) His wife put the towel in his coffin to be cremated with him but she pulled it out at the last second. She wanted to keep the momento for herself. LOL

That's me waving in the red Carp jersey and MAGA hat in the top middle of the screen. Kuroda #15, btw.
