Rotation for Fish series

Milone. Not that hard. Then option Yona.

That said didn’t one of our best guys say his last time out was a disaster.

Making room isn't that hard. That being said I'm not sure what he's doing down there. Information doesn't come out that often.

I do wonder if we make it to the NLDS if game 5 will either be Fried on short rest or a bullpen game. Even if Folty makes a start this week I can't see him being an option for a potential game 5.

Is the upside to giving Folty a start that hope he shows enough to get something in trade this offseason?

I see zero shot he gets a playoff start and next to zero shot he goes through arbitration. In a year where payroll might be tight that would seem to be a huge gamble with $6.5 million.

Not sure if there is any upside to be honest. We just need a starter with a pulse out there sadly.

Surely there is someone who isn't slotted for the playoff roster who could go to the 60 day DL. Milone would probably be a pretty good choice.

Wasn't being a smart-*ss - make room. You can't release guys while they're on the IL, so who are you cutting loose?

Send him to the 60 day IL. Unless the rules are different this year due to COVID, that would open a spot on the 40 man roster.

There had been talk that MLB was going to be more strict about those types of moves, particularly when it involved playoff rosters.

They've got plenty of bigger fish to fry, so ideally you could do that but I'm not sure I'd try it without knowing they weren't going to penalize you for it. Would be just our luck to be the team for them to make an example of all over again.
